Our Creed
That there is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
"...That the shed blood of Jesus Christ and his resurrection provide the only basis for the justification and salvation of all who believe, and only those who receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit, and thus become children of God..."
We believe and teach that the creation of the universe was carried out by God.
(Gen. 1:1)
We believe and teach that the study of the Bible reveals the mind of Christ, and is the inspired, infallible, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God.
(Heb. 4:12) (1 Cor. 2:7:14) (1 Thes. 2:13) (Mt. 5:18)
We believe and teach that there is only one God.
(Deut. 6:4) (Is. 45:5-7) (1 Cor. 8:4)
God the Father, the first person referred to in the Trinity, the creator of all things.
(Gen. 1:1-31) (Eph. 3:9) (Eph.4:13)
We believe and teach that our Lord Jesus Christ was born of a virgin
(Is. 7:14; Mt. 1:23, 24; Lk. 1:26-35), that he was God incarnate (Jn. 1:1, 14) and that the purpose of the incarnation is to reveal God, redeem men and rule the kingdom of God.
(Ps. 2:7-9; Is. 9:6; Jn. 1:29; Phil. 2:9-11; Heb. 7:25, 26; 1Pet. 1:18, 19)
We believe and teach that the Son Jesus Christ is the second person referred to in the trinity who possesses all the divine Excellencies and in these is coequal, consubstantial and coeternal with the Father (John 10:30; 14:9) through his Son, Jesus Christ, through whom all things continue in existence and operation.
(John 1:3) (Col. 1:15; Heb 1:2)
We teach and believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine person, eternally underderived, possessing all the attributes of personality and deity, including intellect (1 Cor. 2:10-13), emotions (Eph. 4:30), will (1 Cor. 12:11), eternity (Heb. 9:14), omnipresence (Ps. 139:7-10), omniscience (Isa. 40:13, 14), omnipotence (Rom. 15:13), and truthfulness (John 16:13). In all divine attributes He is coequal and consubstantial with the Father and the Son.
(Mt. 28:19; Acts 5:3, 4; 28:25, 26; 1 Cor. 12:4-6; 2 Cor. 13:14; Jere. 31:31; Heb. 12:1-13.
We believe and teach that man's salvation is therefore wholly by the grace of God through the redemptive work of our Lord Jesus Christ (Gen. 2:16, 17; Gen. 3:1-19) (Jn. 3:36) (Jn. 6:35) (Rom. 3:23; 6:23) (1Co. 2:14) (Eph. 2:1-3) (1Ti. 2:13,14,)(1Jn. 1:8), and comes to humans by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone (Justification).
We believe and teach in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His sinless life, His miracles, His voluntary gift of redemption, and the reconciliation of man with God (2 Cor. 5:18-19), and we believe in His resurrection and ongoing gift.
We teach that the kingdom is the fulfillment of God's promise to Israel (Isa. 65:17-25; Eze 37:21-28; Zech. 8:1-17) to restore them to the land (Deut. 28:15-68).
We believe and teach that the personal and bodily return of Our Lord Jesus Christ to transfer His church from this earth (Jn. 14:1-3) (1Co. 15:51-53; 1Thess. 4:15-5-11), and between this event and His glorious return with His saints, to reward believers according to their works (1Co. 3:11-15; 2Co. 5:10) and faith in Jesus Christ.
